About Rick Keys

Law firm partner Rick Keys feels attorneys should never confuse their clients. His informal approach is like talking to a good friend. Keys turns a complicated legal process into terms that put his clients at ease. His past experience as an adjuster for a national insurance company gives him the advantage to more clearly evaluate both defense and prosecution proceedings.

A practicing attorney since 1991, this native of Rock Island, Ill., is licensed to practice in both Illinois and Iowa. Keys received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Augustana College, Rock Island, Ill., and his Juris Doctor degree from John Marshall Law School, Chicago. Key’s first position as an attorney was serving as an assistant state’s attorney in Rock Island County. He is a member in good standing with the Scott County and Rock Island County bar associations, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association; and is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central and Northern districts in Illinois, and the Southern District of Iowa.
